Linda Adams-Foat is a member of the Highland Community College Technical theatre faculty
and staff. She acquired a B.F.A. in Performing Arts/Costume Design emphasis
from Rockford College, Rockford IL. She teaches Introduction to Stage
Make Up, Introduction of Stage Costume and Theatre Practicum for the
college as well as designs all of the Theatre departments stage productions
and maintains the Music department's wardrobe. Linda has over 20 years
experience and has costumed 98 shows for the Highland stage as well
as numerous shows for Rockford College, Keith Country Day School, Rockford
Dance Company, Arts Academy of Dance, Studio 121 and various area High
Schools. She owns and operates her own costume rental business, Camelot
Costumes.
Linda is professionally affiliated with the National Costumers Association
and has won numerous national awards including the C.Arthur Landes /Joseph
R Landes Memorial Award for Outstanding Theatre Costume 2002, First
place in the First Showcase 2002 (NCA), First place Theatre costume
(NCA) 2003 and Second place Holiday costume (NCA) 2003.
